SINGAPORE - The 22nd Asian Television Awards, held at Suntec Convention & Exhibition Centre on 1 December, achieved its biggest scale yet. The annual awards event spanning over 2 days, saw 267 nominees from 19 Asian countries and handed out a total of 42 awards. Korean content and entertainment were also recognized in the region as a total of 5 programs were awarded, dominating the documentary, wildlife program and drama categories.
KBS drama 'Love in the Moonlight' starring Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung as the main leads took the winning spot in the 'Best Drama Series' category, with tvN drama 'Goblin' being highly commended. Another notable win was Mnet's music variety program 'Golden Tambourine' which snagged the 'Best Music Programme' award.
