K-INVASION Fashion Show at the Jakarta Fashion Week 2018

JAKARTA, INDONESIA - Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) Indonesia once again participated in the Jakarta Fashion Week (JFW) 2018 event on 25 October 2017 at Fashion Atrium Senayan City, Jakarta. KOCCA Indonesia presented two South Korean labels, Daily Mirror and August Alive, brands that are highly popular among Korean idols and actors.

 

KOCCA Indonesia also bridged the meeting of both labels with local key retail business buyers to open business cooperation opportunities. Kim Nam Gol, Regional Director of KOCCA Indonesia said that this moment can not be separated from Hallyu (Korean Wave) that developed in Indonesia. Fashion enthusiasts in Indonesia not only can enjoy Korean fashion up close but also to spark opportunities for designers of both countries to meet, share experiences and knowledge in the development of fashion.

The first brand presented, Daily Mirror established since 2014 and developed by talented young designer, Kim Ju Han. As the name implies, the Daily Mirror is an association of women who see themselves reflecting 'Reflection of the heart' in the glass every day. With the uniqueness of a moderate design and color settings, brand this became a favorite of Korean stars such as singer IU and Dasom. The collection is also used by Gong Seung Yeon, the female lead in the drama 'Introverted Boss'. In Jakarta Fashion Week 2018, Daily Mirror will feature a collection of 2018 S / S with the theme 'A Summer's Christmas'.

 

The second brand is August Alive is a label fronted by designer Park Se-Jin. New to the fashion scene as it only began in 2015, August Alive already has following and fan, such as actress Kang Ye Won. August Alive offers a creative look with knitted items. The concept is modern, simple yet also high fashion, able to combine the structure and abstract silhouette, hard and soft material andcreating a harmonious classic and contemporary look. Within two years of its establishment, August Alive have entered the American, German and Canadian markets. On his first arrival in Indonesia, August Alive prepared a collection of themed 'More Contain' at Jakarta Fashion Week 2018.​
