We have beautiful cherry blossoms in Korea! There were cherry blossom festivals and we've went to the one in Jamsil - Seokchonhosu Lake.
The tower on the right is Lotte World Tower (123F) which is the 6Th most highest building in the World. You're able to see the building while you take a walk at Seokchonhosu Lake.
This is the view from Seokchonhosu Lake. While walking through the Lake path visitors are able to see Lotte World Tower, Lotte World, and enjoy cherry blossom festival :)
Yesterday, the weather was so warm that there were alot of people who came to enjoy the festival. Especially since it's the last day .
On the opposite side of the lake you'll be able to see Lotte World (Amusement Park). Also, during spring and summer people are able to ride small boats (we call it 'Duck Boat') on the lake.
As you can see in the pictures the weather was just GREAT!!!
There were lanterns like the one in the picture. The women and boy clothes that is sketched on the lantern is Korea's traditional costume 'Han-Bok'.
You're able to check out LOTS of cherry blossom trees. Yesterday was the last day since it's raining here today :( lot of cherry blossom fell off already but still they looked amazing.
This is Lotte World. You can look closely to Lotte World when walking. You're not able to go in but able to see from the outside.
This is one of a cafe in Seokchonhosu Lake. Numerous of drama's have been took at the cafe here. When you visit Korea in the future visit Seokchonhosu Lake and enjoy your coffee here!
Art works drawn on the wall
Currenlt in the middle of the lake there is a giant swan family. The swans are created by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman who caused a sensation in Seoul in 2014 as he floated giant yellow rubber duck on the same lake in the past.
The 'Sweet Swan' has a meaning which is about the sweet moments of spring and love. It will float on the lake until May 8.
Also, there is South Korea national flag made of cherry blossoms! There is fence where you can hang locks which is simlilar to the one at Namsam Tower.
This is how cherry blossom festivals are like in Korea!! Hope you enjoyed the picture:)
We'll be uploading different place pictures everyweek so look forward to it and spread the info (Korea.com) !!
